Fashion-obsessives know how important February and September are in terms of style and trends. Each year, these two months usher in the hottest runway shows across the globe, most buzz-worthy trends to mimic, beauty tips and looks to recreate, and endless street style fashion to aspire to. Yes, we're talking about the four main fashion weeks: New York, London, Milan and Paris, where high-fashion designers, supermodels, editors and coveted fashion photographers all gather together to learn and celebrate the latest styles at A-list runway shows and exclusive events.

And although glamorous to view and interpret the catwalk trends, what occurs in-between shows is where the real magic lies. Being that the crowds are filled with some of the most fashionable set and style mavens, the streets turn into a runway itself with embellished patterns or color-blocking, minimalistic chic silhouettes, trend-led ensembles, eye-catching designs and statement accessories for the finishing touches — inspiring a whole movement and new trends.

In honor of New York Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow, February 9th, we are throwing it back to a round up of our favorite street style looks from last season. Prepare yourself for some serious style inspo ahead.

Similar to our love of mixed-metal jewelry, playing up different textures in an outfit was a big buy-in for trends last fashion season and will only continue to grow in momentum. Whether you opt for leather and knitwear, or lace and cotton — the more the merrier will win this classy street style look.

We relished in all the fantastic suiting we saw, perfectly capturing the zeitgeist of post-pandemic fashion where sweatpants and athleisure were finally shoved to the depths of our closets. Instead, the investment for colorful suits and tailored separates were a welcomed change and one we plan to keep on rotation.

We love an outfit that's made mostly out of closet staples: blue jeans, white T-shirt, and a jacket. What turns wardrobe heros into a statement look are detailed accents like you'll find in the Mid-Rise Everyday Soft Denim™ Embellished Girlfriend Jeans. The comfortable silhouette will allow you to spend long hours in it, while remaining on-trend.

Sometimes the details are in the outerwear, completing an outfit in the most magical way. And sometimes, an all-black powerlook is how to nail the trend and the day. And lucky for you, it's a color we specialize in.

Monochromatic fashion is one of the quickest ways to ultra-chic style. Simply find your color of choice, and choose separates in a variety of the same hue, mixing through textures and weight.

Because we have warmer days on the horizon, we are excited to capitalize on our new skirt collection to try our hand at this trend. Pair our colorful or printed skirts with a variety of tops, either loose or form-fitting. On days with high sunshine, reach for one of our pointed flats or heels as well.

With last years street style still providing endless inspiration, we look forward to what will come out of the fall/winter 2024 shows in New York, London, Milano and Paris. Check back in for more fashion week content.
