We are committed to
empowering women

We’ve seen the influence of unity and know that together we can make a difference. This philosophy of togetherness—as a business alongside our customers and associates—is the foundation of our philanthropy.

We proudly support organizations on a national and local level that encourage, empower and support all women. We invite you to get to know these groups.

Living Beyond
Breast Cancer

Since 2004, White House Black Market and its sister brands, Chico’s and Soma, have been Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s strongest supporter, raising nearly $8 million. Those funds have been invaluable in increasing the reach and depth of our programs and services to help people impacted by breast cancer.

Habitat for humanity

White House Black Market and its sister brands, Chico’s and Soma are committed to the well-being, health and empowerment of women. We are proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity and be a part of their vision to create a world where everyone has a decent place to call home.

Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 and has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 1,300 communities throughout the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower.

Dress for Success

Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to more than 145 cities in 25 countries and has helped more than one million women work towards self-sufficiency.

With the help of White House Black Market leadership, we founded the Dress for Success Southwest Florida affiliate in 2010. Every year since, we’ve been a signature sponsor of their Shop for Success and Fashion Night in Black and White charity events. And in the last six years we’ve helped serve over 1,700 local women—providing monetary, clothing and accessories donations, and volunteer time. WHBM leaders serve on the board as well as various committees and help provide resources for job training, seminars, mentoring and career coaching.
